Online nutrition, strength and mindset coaching for women
No fads, no thirty day resets, no living your life on social media. Just a plan built around the schedule you actually have, with someone in your corner who has done this with thousands of women.
No pressure, and you will leave with something useful either way.
The honest part
Most women who come to me are not lazy and not uninformed. They are carrying more than one person should, and the advice they keep finding was written for someone with a different life.
Another plan, another January, another app. It works for three weeks and then real life arrives. Starting again is not a discipline failure. It usually means the plan was never built to survive a normal week.
Kids, appointments, games, work, everyone else first. An hour in a gym is not the answer when you do not have an hour. What you need is something that still counts on the days that fall apart.
Everything online is written for everyone, which means it is written for nobody. The pieces are all out there. Fitting them into a picture that works for your body and your life is the hard part, and it is the part I do.
One to one online coaching
We start with where you actually are. Your schedule, your kitchen, your history, your injuries, what you have tried and what you hated. Then we build something you can keep doing after our time together ends.
How it works
You tell me what is going on and what you want. I tell you honestly whether I can help and what it would look like.
Training and nutrition designed around your real week, not an idealized one. We set the pace together.
A live check-in every week on Zoom, adjustments as you go, and accountability, so the habits are yours by the time we finish.

Book a callSessions are live on Zoom, once a week, and billed monthly. After the three-month minimum, coaching continues month to month and you can stop whenever you like. Need to move a session? Give 24 hours' notice and we will find another time that week. Once per three-month term, a last-minute cancellation is on me. After that, a session cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice counts as one of yours.
Optional testing: if it would help, I can point you to at-home bloodwork through Everlywell and DNA-based nutrition (nutrigenomic) testing through my Genetic Direction storefront. You order from and pay the testing company directly, the results are yours, and I use them only to shape your suggestions, never to diagnose or treat anything. IronFit earns a share of the price on tests and any supplements you order through my link or storefront, so weigh my suggestions with that in mind.
The THRIVE Method
THRIVE is the framework behind all of my coaching. It is not a sequence you graduate through. It is the set of lenses we look through together every week, because the body, the food and the head are never separate problems.

Corporate wellness
Most corporate wellness is a portal nobody logs into and a challenge nobody finishes. I have spent more than a decade on the other side of this, designing training programs, nutrition content and supplement lines at scale alongside physicians and manufacturers, for audiences in the thousands.
Now I build that for smaller organizations, working with you rather than handing you a template.
From the HR side
We have had the pleasure of having Amy Robinson present on various nutrition topics to our population over the past 4 years. She has been an incredible resource. She is dynamic, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable, with a unique ability to make health and wellness information approachable and easy to understand. Her webinars consistently draw strong attendance and participation, which speaks to her ability to connect with and engage our population. She makes topics practical, easy to understand, and applicable to everyday life. We have valued the knowledge, energy, and enthusiasm she brings to our population and would highly recommend her to any organization!
We love having Amy as a presenter! She is dynamic and engaging and shared so much valuable and useful information throughout the sessions. The information she shared was practical, relevant, and presented in a way that was easy to understand and connect with. We would love the opportunity to work with Amy again in the future!
About Amy
ISSA Master Trainer · 12+ years · Clients across the U.S. & Canada
I didn't start out as a trainer. I started out as someone who had struggled with her weight and her relationship with food since she was a teenager, and who had tried every quick fix there was, and invented a few. In 2004 I decided I needed something other than another diet. I got real help, hired a trainer, and learned nutrition and strength training properly. For the first time I was healthy, in my head as well as my body.
I went on to compete in natural Figure and earned my pro card in 2009. From the outside I looked like the picture of health. Behind the scenes I was running on perfectionism, rigid food rules and too much exercise, which is its own kind of unhealthy. Becoming a wife and a mother changed that. Pregnancy, a demanding career, and raising a daughter with complex medical needs left no room for a plan that only works when life is perfect. A few hard years, including a serious diagnosis of my own, taught me that a body is something to take care of, not something to punish. I went back to what I'd studied all along: balanced nutrition, strength, movement, recovery, and looking after the whole person.
In 2014 I left my full-time career to build this business, and since then I have worked on both the private coaching and corporate sides of this industry. One client at a time, I have coached thousands of women. On the corporate side, I have spent more than ten years designing workouts, nutrition content and supplement formulations alongside doctors and manufacturers, and speaking to audiences of up to five thousand people.
What I learned doing both is that almost nobody fails for lack of information. They fail because the plan was built for someone with a different calendar, a different body and a different set of responsibilities.
So that is what I do now. I take what you already know, add what you do not, and fit it into the life you are actually living. I have an MBA and I run this as a real business, which mostly means I will be straight with you about what works, what does not, and how long it will honestly take.
Health looks different on everybody. My job is finding the version that fits your life and that you can keep.
In their words
Shared with permission. Every person is different, and results vary.
Fitness and nutrition information are puzzle pieces that everyone has access to, but fitting those pieces into a picture that makes sense for your life is difficult. Amy has the ability and knowledge to put those pieces together into a picture that fits your lifestyle and personal preferences. She steered me in the right direction, was my biggest cheerleader, and gave me a focus that helped me achieve my goals.
I have been a gym rat my whole life, and although I have always eaten what I consider to be healthy, I never really had control over my diet. Amy set me up on a plan that works for me, and I am still doing it. She is a great motivator and an excellent coach, and she has helped me change my mindset on how to build a lasting healthy lifestyle.
Straight answers
Not in the medical sense, and you should be cautious of anyone who says they do without the credential for it. Prescribed meal plans and medical nutrition therapy are the work of registered dietitians and licensed providers. What I give you is nutrition education and suggested options built around what you like, what you can cook and how you live. In practice most people find that far more useful anyway.
No, and I will not pretend otherwise. I do not diagnose, treat or manage medical conditions, and nothing I provide replaces care from your own provider. If something belongs with your doctor, I will tell you so.
Yes, alongside your prescriber rather than instead of them. I do not prescribe, adjust or advise on medication. What I do is help you protect muscle, eat enough of the right things and build habits that hold once the prescription ends, which is the part most people are not supported through.
Everything is online. Our weekly session is live on Zoom, and your workouts and nutrition suggestions are built for the space, equipment and time you actually have. It works well because the plan is designed for your real life, not a gym you have to get to.
Because that is roughly how long it takes for changes to become yours rather than something you are white knuckling. Shorter than that and most people leave right before the part that would have worked. It is also fairer to both of us than an open-ended arrangement neither of us takes seriously.
Coaching continues month to month at the same rate, and you can stop at any time before your next billing date. Most people keep going for a while and then taper off as the habits become their own, which is the goal.
Life happens, especially with kids. Give me 24 hours' notice and we will move the session to another time that week. Once per three-month term, a last-minute cancellation is on me. After that, a session cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice counts as one of yours.
No. I have worked with women who have not trained in fifteen years and with women preparing to compete. Where you start is just information, not a judgment.
